Antoine Walker Devon born 12 August 1976, in Chicago, Illinois is an American professional basketball player. He was a starting forward for the Wildcats for the 1996 NCAA men's Division I Basketball Championship-winning teams. After his second season, he declared the 1996 NBA Draft and was selected sixth overall by the Boston Celtics.
Walker was involved in a 5-team, 13-play deal that sent him from the Celtics to the Miami Heat. Walker would play as a reserve, often rotating between power forward and small forward positions.Walker was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves and Michael Doleac, Wayne Simi, a first round draft pick and cash considerations in exchange for Ricky Davis and Mark Blount.
Walker was arrested for suspicion of drunk driving in Miami Beach. Walker was charged with three felony counts of writing bad checks for gambling debts he had incurred in the three Las Vegas.Walker was in Tahoe to play in the American Century Celebrity Golf Classic the day after. Walker and former University of Kentucky teammate Nazr Mohammed were robbed outside a Chicago South Side restaurant.
