Terence Graham Parry Jones, born on 01.02.1942 is a Welsh comedian, screenwriter, actor, director, children's author, popular historian, political commentator and TV documentary host. He is best known as a member of the Monty Python comedy team.Jones was born in Colwyn Bay, North Wales. He was educated at Royal Grammar School in Guildford now an independent school, the former was true to its name, where he was head boy in the academic year 1960-1, he was educated in English at St. Edmund Hall, Oxford. While there he performed comedy with Michael Palin, including in The Oxford Revue.
The first recorded case of Terry Jones and Michael Palin cooperate professionally came when Terry was on a writing Sarah Miles pulled out, then hired Terry Michael. He wrote for The Frost Report and several other of David Frost's programs on British television.
